Public Accounts Officer (36 hours per week)

Could you make a difference to the way that the States sets about achieving value for money?
We are seeking to recruit a Public Accounts Officer, who is educated to degree level and/or with a recognised professional accounting qualification or studying towards one, to join our small team.
The postholder will: " have significant experience at working at a senior level in a wide ranging post in a financial environment, preferably within, but not limited to, compliance, external or internal audit. " have knowledge and experience of best and accepted financial procedures and guidance as well as an understanding of legal issues including contracts. " be involved in the preparation and management of the approved work program including individual reviews. " provide research and high level assistance to the Principal Public Accounts Officer and members of the Committee.
