Office Assistant (36 hours per week) |

The successful applicant will
assist and support Investigating Officers by co-ordinating information and
activities within their respective Unit. He/she will be responsible for dealing
with general telephone enquiries and organising the filing systems. The
postholder will also maintain the database and coordinate statistics, type and
proof read transcripts and be responsible for the management of correspondence.
The postholder must have experience of dealing with sensitive and/or confidential information. In addition, he/she must possess excellent typing and IT Skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A high standard of communication and organisational skills with a methodical approach to work and experience of working within a team is also required. Although not essential, experience of audio typing and/or minute taking would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the post and the location in which it is based, candidates will be required to undergo Security Service Vetting to SC Level. Please note, there may be a requirement for the successful applicant to attend training courses in the UK. |
