Services for Children & Young People - Occupational Therapist (36 hours per week)
We are seeking to recruit a Children's Occupational Therapist to work as part of the Occupational Therapy Team based at Le Rondin School and Centre.
The post holder will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team with a Team Manager, Senior Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Worker for Children with Disabilities, Child Development Centre Liaison Nurse and Administrative Support. The team also work closely with members of the specialist Education Services such as Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, and ASD teams.
He/she will manage a defined caseload including the running of groups and clinics, screening new referrals and supporting the unqualified but experienced staff within the Occupational Therapy Team regarding community equipment and adaptations Candidates must hold an Occupational Therapy Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people.
