& Social Care Record - IT Trainer (36 hours per week)

The Health and Social Services
Department is implementing new computer systems as part of an Electronic Health
and Social Care Record (EHSCR). The IT Trainer will be part of the IM&T
Section but will work within the EHSCR project team initially. The post holder will be responsible to the Training Co-ordinator for training design, delivery and the documentation, and will be expected to work across all the HSSD sites including Alderney, to deliver training programmes as an integral part of the EHSCR project team. He / she will be required to act as a resource to provide support, advice and investigation on the desk top and specialist applications. Extensive experience of planning, developing and providing IT training programmes is essential, plus the ability to develop an in depth understanding of relevant software applications and a thorough understanding of modern computer technologies. Candidates must also possess excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. |
