The Law Officers are seeking to recruit a highly capable lawyer to join St James Chambers to undertake civil forfeiture and related criminal and civil mutual legal assistance work including the restraint and forfeiture of assets. In a well regulated jurisdiction you will be part of a team which is committed to assisting the Law Officers in the performance of their crime prevention functions in the field of domestic and international asset recovery. The successful candidate is likely to have proven experience in the field of asset recovery or international litigation and will have the ability to prepare and run domestic and international asset recovery cases in a civil context. However, consideration will also be given to prospective applicants without directly relevant experience but who can demonstrate an aptitude or skill set that can be readily adapted. If not already a Guernsey Advocate qualification as such will be required. |

Salary: Rising to £109,363 according to qualifications
and experience with a likely starting salary between £56,523 and
£76,309 |
